Digital Intermediate (DI)

For any project, where consistency and artistry are important, the color correction & grading step is the final piece of the visual puzzle. Going beyond “look” plug-ins and LUTs, this level of color work focuses first on shot-to-shot color correction: problem solving and matching to create a seamless feel to the edit, regardless of differing shooting times, dates, lighting conditions, or production problems.
Once the visual differences have been ironed out, scene-to-scene looks can be created to enhance the feel of the piece. When this process is performed under the supervision of the DP and Director, it represents the final step in achieving the visual goals for the project.

Cloning Services

The most common method of distributing DCP to hundreds of cinemas is using hard disk specifically formatted as per DCI requirements making it compatible with DCI Trusted Device List (TDL) and workflow. At Hockwood we designed,engineered and manufactured our own solid-state hard drives for maximum data integrity and reliability. Also, making cloning and ingestion of content 5 times faster than the traditional hard drives. Our high-speed mass duplication system is capable of cloning 100 copies in a few minutes. Our cloning infrastructure is designed to be flexible and cater as per our clients last minute delivery requirements under stringent timelines.

Subtitling/Translation

NOC

We can manage your show programming, KDM generation, network content delivery and ingestion remotely from Hockwood (NOC). With one phone call we respond to emergency service issues quickly and efficiently, within a specified timeframe. The Hockwood Network Operations Center (NOC) is a 24/7/365 facility where experienced team monitor your cinema throughout Middle east. On a daily basis, the team tracks content playback, status for tens of thousands of screens, making sure every show runs smoothly.
If our NOC team observes potential issues with content, KDM or any system failure within a cinema, they will contact the cinema manager and provide consultation and guidance on solutions. Working with a wide network of distributors, the team can also quickly arrange for immediate resolution of the issue’s. The team can spot potential issues which can hamper show playback before they impact the cinema. NOC also provides advance notice of software upgrades and timely maintenance.
